More Time With Jim Klein

As promised, here is the second part of our interview with Jim Klein, president of the American Benefits Council. Jim discusses comparative effectiveness research (also in the House bill), how turning the focus from sickness to wellness can lead to savings and what the future holds for the council.

  1. Mr. Klein is an obvious cheerleader for universal healthcare. That aside, none of these healthcare reform provisions should be in the stimulus bill. They are hidden from the American people who have no time to voice their opinion on them. What a discrace. This isn't about efficiency entirely. It's about deciding who lives or dies via treatment given vs treatment withheld. Welcome to socialized medicine which has failed miserably wherever it is implemented.
